A New Camera!

Hello!

Judy and I are back up and going. We had 10 weekdays off. We got some much needed rest and we missed visiting you!

Last weekend we were a MCC New Light in Hagerstown, MD. It was Home Coming Sunday. A lot of folks came to be Church. The pastor is Rev. Michael Hydes. He is from England. He became clergy at MCC NY. He and his spouse Chris invited me to tea in their sweet home. It was a joy to hear them talk about all of the things this Church has done since our last visit...

More work on the lovely building. Outreach to youth, more folks attending, new members, two new members joined Sunday. More Deacons, a new one Sunday. More work with community groups; some community groups now meet at the church. Supporting a new gift store for GLBT, the only one in Hagerstown, MD. The store is great! It now carries some of our artwork and CD’s, www.RainbowConnectionLLC.com

We had a great time together. It was a Holy time! Pictures are coming…

This weekend we will be at MCC New Haven, CT. with Rev. Bernie Barbour. He has been a dear friend for 300 years! I will tell you more soon. This church is full of music because of Beth. She is someone you must know more about. I will tell you soon about her and the gifts she brings to MCC.

FROGS

My life and frogs. In my heart I just need to tell you about the frogs in my life. Some 16 years ago I got 2 cartoons in the mail. They were about frogs. I found no return address for this strange gift. I wondered for weeks why someone would send me frog cartoons!?!

About a month later I began to get cards with frogs on them?? Cards from all over the world! Some were from places where we had MCC’s. Some from lands where we did not have MCC’s. I asked friends, did you send me this stuff? All said NO!

Then after about 6months I got all kinds of frog gifts. Posted from all over the USA and other lands! Frogs, frogs, frogs, frogs!!!!!!!! Big ones, tiny ones, dark green, light green! Then it would stop. I would forget about the frogs. It was over. Done! Next thing I knew, mooooore! I talked to folks and at times I felt like I know who the FROG PEOPLE were! Then, it stopped again. Almost a year would pass, then another one, or two or 25!!!!

About a year into the GREAT FROG THING someone told me, as I pondered into my diet hot chocolate, that FROG also stood for: Fully Rely on God!

I still get them. I still do not always know who sends one or 23... Judy and I now have WE FROG 2 on our license plate. Judy’s idea. I still seek to know who the GREAT FROGIES are as I ponder into my diet hot chocolate…….?
