I have been working on this letter for some time now. I am sorry you did not get this for your Ordination Service. However, I am not sending this to you because I missed your service. I am sending this to you because I am so moved by your life. I could not rest without sharing these feelings with you and others. So, I have added this to my Blog.
You have been ready for years. You started out in a church that would not Ordain women. Years later you came out and came to MCC. Joy!!! All you had to do for MCC was pack 1,000,000 things into 15 minutes. You had your heart already packed to go. You have been living in 3 worlds at one time for years. You did all you where asked to do. You put yourself up to the Gospel Plate and said "Here I am." You started this walk some 20 years ago. You and your spouse did without each other and without things that you needed to buy so that you would be able to live your Call. So, I am standing on a big ROCK looking at you and all of the people I met at MCC's Intensives this past June. I met people with a mission and hearts full of new ways and full of the Holy Spirit. UFMCC is blessed to have all of you. You make my heart dance!!! It is a Holy sharing that all of you bring!!!
